What do we do if employees don’t participate in our wellness program?
It’s true that you will rarely see 100% participation in a newly-formed wellness program. Employees simply won’t be at the same readiness level.
Instead of counting participation numbers, what should you focus on?
Your wellness program’s main job should be to create multiple interventions and wellness components for each readiness level. If you’ve done an employee interest survey, you should have a good idea of what components will work and which ones might take some time.
Keep in mind, the best way to reach ALL of your employees with wellness is to create and maintain a healthy workplace culture. The culture should serve as a launch pad for individual wellness efforts.
